Kids Lunchboxes: Hiding veggies & fruit.


Kids Lunchboxes: Parent's either dread them or go through waves of inspiration. To start the year right, the 9th- 15th February is National Healthy Lunchbox Week hosted by Nutrition Australia.

Here are some clever recipes for kids' lunchboxes where you can hide vegetables and fruit inside delicious and healthy food such as cookies, muffins, and cakes. These recipes are nut-free, easy, quick to make, and perfect for tired parents.

Hidden Veggie Chocolate Chip Cookies:

These cookies are a sneaky way to incorporate vegetables into your child's snack time. Finely grate carrots and fold them into a classic chocolate chip cookie dough.

Hidden Veggie Muffins:

These muffins are packed with nutrients and flavor. Blend zucchini, carrots, banana and applesauce into the muffin batter along with whole-wheat flour and oats for a wholesome treat. It has NUTS as optional.
